MORE ABOUT MY JOURNEY...
I have several titles — organizational psychologist, executive coach, and doctoral candidate are a few. I’ve been shaping organizational efficiency locally and internationally for over a decade. While completing a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology at the Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business in New York, I managed and coordinated the College’s Graduate internship program, where I served as an advocate for the staff and an asset to the management team of my program – assisting in the day-to-day management of the program and facilitating training sessions and courses for undergraduates.
Upon returning to Trinidad, I put those skills to work taking on human resource management positions at Security and Telecommunications firms prior to taking the helm of Profiles T&T in 2001. Since becoming the Business Development Manager of the internationally affiliated Profiles T&T, I’ve assisted various local and international organizations in developing and implementing a variety of employee solutions strategies including customized recruitment and evaluation tools, performance improvement related activities, team building and efficiency training, change management training and consulting, and output-focused human resource consulting.
Through my years of study and professional work, my research has included studies on selection methods and turnover rates, social matters including race and poverty, and the development of behavioral and organizational competencies for use in recruitment, promotion, and succession planning.
In addition to my professional experience, I’m an avid sports fan and animal enthusiast and I also volunteer my time to assist organizations and individuals in need.
